GV II

Farmhouse. Early-mid C17. Rear left wing added late C17, and a range
added parallel to wing in C18. C18 red brick casing. Plain tile roof
with large C17 chimney stack of 6 diagonal shafts on a square base.
Timber framed interior. 2 storeys. 5 C19 and C20 glazing bar casements
and sashes, the ground floor windows with shallow segmental heads.
Half-glazed mid-C19 door beneath stack. Right end wall is mid C19 with a
3-bay verandah. Eaves fascia band. Left gable end has cusped bargeboard
and C17 brick. Late C17 wing comprises 2 ground floor rooms with corner
fireplaces and a common stack. (RCHM Typescript).
