GV II

Barn. Late C18/early C19.Red brick with vitrified headers, pitched tiled
roof. Scattered openings, some with rubbed brick segmental arched heads.
3 C20 openings on long elevation to house; 2 to right, 1 to left. Gabled
first floor entrance porch with cement rendering on same elevation.
Dentillated brick eaves cornice on long elevations. Plat bands at same
level on gable walls. Parapetted gables with decorative headers.
Entrance gate and piers to Hall attached on E gable wall. Prominent on
Ashwell Road.
