10/30 The Cottage
House. Late C17. Timber frame on brick base, weatherboarded and
rendered. Thatched roof. 2 cells. 1 storey and attic. Central entrance.
Flush frame timber casements, 3 lights to left, 2 lights to right. Two 2
light dormers with old leaded lights. C18 left end external stack with
offsets, rendering behind stack. Rendered right gable. Outshut to rear
left and C20 lean-to to rear right both with tiled roofs. Interior:
chamfered ground floor bearers, cambered tie beams with braces from
posts, collars clasp purlins.
