II
House, formerly 2 dwellings. Late C16, floored and heated in C17,
altered and extended in C20. Timber frame, rendered. Tiled roof.
Originally 2 bays, probably an open hall, extended to left. 1 storey and
attic. Projecting gabled entrance porch at left end of original house. 2
bays to right have 3 light leaded pane casements, flush frames, 3 and 4
light flat topped dormers. Ridge stack at original left end, rebuilt
cap. Right end external stack with ground floor lean-to outshut. First
floor 2 light casement, lean-to outshut to rear. To left is C20 addition
with a ground floor 3 light casement, two 3 light dormers, 3 light
casements in left end and a stack to rear. Interior: exposed framing,
stop chamfered binding beams.
