House. C16 or early C17, refronted in C19, altered and extended C20.
Timber frame, gault brick refronting, all rendered. Steeply pitched
tiled roof. Originally probably a small L on plan, 2 cells to front, now
roughly square on plan. 2 storeys. Entrance to right of centre, 3 light
recessed casements, segmental heads on ground floor, plinth, plat band.
Right end C18 red brick external stack. Left end hipped roof, C17
external stack, large at base with offsets to narrow cap. Lean-to added
to front. Right end, addition to rear projects slightly further. To
rear: 2 gabled blocks with lower ridges, that to right lowest, left
block is slightly larger with 1 and 2 light flush frame casements.
Extension to right in course of construction at
time of inspection.
