House, at one time 3 dwellings. C17 origins, largely rebuilt and
refronted late C18, extended C19. Timber frame, rendered with red brick
front. Tiled roof with slate on rear additions. Broad 3 cells,
originally probably a through passage plan with entrance between windows
to centre and right, stack to left of centre and a window to far left. 2
storeys. Step up to recessed 6 panelled door, 4 fielded panels, doorcase
with reeded pilasters, shaped brackets to hood. Plinth. Ground floor 16
pane sashes, first floor 3 light small pane casements all recessed with
timber sills and slightly cambered heads. Cross axial ridge stack. Left
gable end has cement render over ground floor brick. Right gable end
rendered with a ground floor lean-to outshut, rendered with a large sash
to front, weatherboarded return with an entrance. To rear C19 continuous
lean-to outshut, 2 storey wing to rear left with ground floor brick and
flint, first floor weatherboarding, ridge stack. Interior: reset stop
chamfered bearers.
