House. Early C16, stack inserted and probably floored in C17, altered
C19 and C20. Timber frame. Bead moulded weatherboarding on ground floor,
roughcast first floor, brick cased left end. Steeply pitched tiled roof.
3 bays, probably an end hall house originally with central bay open. Now
all 2 storeys. Entrance to left of centre, recessed 6 raised panelled
door, shaped brackets to flat hood. 2 light flush frame casements, small
panes with glazing bars on ground floor, leaded lights on first floor.
Eaves cornice. Stack to rear slope between centre and right bays with a
rebuilt white brick cap. Rendered right gable end. Left gable end has
C19 red brick casing with recessed 2 light casements, a truncated
extruded stack with offsets. To rear left is a C20 1 storey wing with an
entrance. Taller slate roofed outshut to rear centre. 1 storey and attic
wing to rear right with an outer gabled dormer. Interior: stop chamfered
cross axial bearer and axial joists. Crown post roof with 4 way curved
braces, post and braces chamfered. Formerly the White Horse Public House.
