Barn. C17, reroofed and extended C18 or C19. Timber frame on brick base.
Weatherboarded. Steeply pitched slate roof. 4 bays with single aisle and
3 bay midstrey addition to rear. 2 double doors and loft openings to
yard. Continuous roof over rear aisle. Cart doors in midstrey with
shallower pitch to roof. Interior: jowled posts, arched braces to
cambered tie beams and arcade plate, collars clasp purlins, tension
braces and studding in walling, some C20 repair. Attached to left and
extending forward at right angles is 3 bay former stable range. C17
reroofed in C19, stable doors, jowled posts with arched braces to
cambered tie beams.
