Lodge to Newsells Park. 1804 in render. For J. Peachey. Clay lump.
Rendered with timber dressings. Half hipped thatched roof. Cottage orné.
1 storey and attic. 2 bays. Entrance in right end facing drive, panelled
door with a 4 centred arched head in a rustic timber surround, thatched
rustic open porch. 2 light casements with upper leaded panes, rustic
timber mullions and segmental heads to each light, chamfered surrounds.
Attic lights on ends have rustic timber dripmoulds with date over that
facing drive. Central ridge stack with 3 plum brick octagonal shafts, 2
original, 1 added. Catslide roof over continuous lean-to outshut to rear
with recessed windows. Interior not inspected. Newsells Park House is not
listed.
