GV II


House. Mid to late C17, extended C18 or C19. Timber frame on brick base,
rendered. Half hipped thatched roofs. 3 bays, 1 storey and attic, with 2
bay, 1 storey addition to left. Entrance in C20 tiled lean-to porch to
left. Central 3 light flush frame C20 lattice casement. Two 3 light
dormers with eyebrow thatching. Cross axial ridge stack to right of
centre. 2 bay addition to left has 2 light lattice casements. Right end
to road is weatherboarded with a ground floor 2 light lattice casement,
attic 2 light casement, exposed plates. Left end C20 external stack.
Rendered to rear. Interior: exposed framing with axial and cross axial
stop chamfered bearers, tension bracing.
