House with shop extension. Early C18, extended early and later C19.
House is timber framed, roughcast. Steeply pitched half hipped thatched
roof. 2 cell lobby entry. 2 storeys. Entrance to right of centre, 6
fielded panelled door in reveal, original architrave with pulvinated
frieze, pediment. 3 and 4 light transomed flush moulded frame casements
with hoodboards. Ridge stack behind entrance. Right end ground floor
canted bay window, exposed plates. Lower 2 bay C19 addition to left is
rendered brick with a slate roof. Ground floor projecting mid to late
C19 shop front, splayed recess to central entrance, 2/3 glazed door,
panelled dado, colonnettes frame windows, cornice over fascia board.
Left end lean-to outshut. To rear scattered casements, 1 storey lean-to
and flat roofed additions. Interior not inspected.
