House. Mid to late C16 with C18 additions. Restored 1976. Timber frame,
roughcast. Steeply pitched tiled roof. 4 bays, 2 storeys with 1 bay 1
storey additions at both ends. Continuous jetty to front on original
block. Entrance to left. C20 2 light small pane flush frame casements.
Sprocket eaves. Central and right windows are broadly spaced with a
ridge stack between. Right end has an originally external stack, now in
a 1 storey gabled outshut set back slightly. Similar outshut to left has
a stack at left end. C20 casements to rear, a gabled dormer to rear of
right outshut. Interior: original 4 centred arched doorcase, inner
hollow and outer cyma mouldings, herringbone in English bond fireplace,
chamfered bearers, stop chamfered joists, jowled posts, first floor
curved passing tension braces, clasped purlin roof. (RCHM Typescript).
