Barn and stables. Late C17 or C18. Timber frame on brick base.
Weatherboarded. Corrugated sheet roofing rounded over ridge. 3 bays.
Central double doors with opposing short lean-to outshut. Interior:
jowled posts with arched braces to tie beams, angled struts to collars
clasping purlins, tension braces aid studding in walls. Low stable
ranges with tiled roofs are attached to both ends, each L-shaped
returning to enclose yard.
