House. Early C18, extended both ends in C19 and later C20. Timber frame
exposed with plastered infill to 1st floor of oldest part, painted brick
N part, and roughcast elsewhere. Steep old red tile roof. A long
2-storeys house on roadside formerly facing W but now entered at rear.
Oldest part has 3-cells separated by narrow bays for chimney and
entrance/staircase. Small pane 3-lights casement windows. Entrance now a
window. Small rear-wall chimney to N room of 3-cells part. Hall in
middle heated by internal chimney and fireplace at its S end and with
staircase rising from its NE corner. Formerly a cellar under N room (?
parlour). Chamfered axial beams.
