House. C16, C19 brick S part. Timber frame roughcast with roughcast
brick casing to ground floor, red brick S part, and steep old red tile
roofs. A 2-storeys, 2-cells, internal chimney plan house facing W, with
full height S extension, its gable to the road, and a narrower
hip-roofed N extension. Very large square chimney topped by 4 square
shafts in a diagonal cruciform configuration. Internal S gable chimney.
S extension has higher ground floor level giving 1 1/2-storeys in some
height as older part. Entrance on W by plank door at S end of older part
which has 2 2-lights transomed casement windows on ground floor and 2
casement windows on 1st floor with small window in line with chimney.
2-lights ground floor W window to S extension, E side has 2 gabled
dormers at the eaves.
