TL 12 SE KINGS WALDEN FROGMORE BOTTOM

4/13 Frogmore Cottage

House. Circa 1700, short S extension, front wall heightened, roof
changed from thatch to tile, and brick cased when divided into 2
cottages in C19; NW extension when made one house in later C20. Timber
frame cased in red brick. Stucco plinth and steep old red tile roof. A
1½-storeys, 3-cells, internal-chimney, former lobby entry plan house
facing E. 3-windows long front with 3 gabled dormers at eaves, and small
window to narrow S bay. 2-lights casement windows, and plank door,
beside central chimney. Interior has axial beams carrying the floors,
and exposed timbers in partition between N room and middle room.
