TL 12 SW KINGS WALDEN DIAMOND END

3/14 Woodside Cottage

House. C18, N extension 1985. Timber frame, dark weatherboarded, the
front of stucco lined as ashlar to 1st floor with painted representation
of timber frame, ground floor of stuccoed brick. Half-hipped red tile
roof carried down over rear outshut with painted flint and brick rear
wall. Central brick chimney. A 2-storeys, 2 windows-wide house facing E.
2-light flush casement windows with small panes to 1st floor. Deeper
3-light windows to ground gloor. 4-panels flush-beaded door in gabled
wooden porch, with its plank door painted to represent the inner door. 2
small flat-topped dormers on rear roofslope. Structure of N side exposed
in alterations shows brick infill to sawn studs with long straight
braces. 2-storeys N extension not of special interest.
