Farmhouse. C17 or earlier S crosswing, hall range altered in C17 or early C18. Timber frame, roughcast upper part of wing, ground floor cased in old red brick in English-bond. C18 plum brick casing to hall range with red dressings and heightened by 6 courses of chequer brickwork at eaves. Steep old red tile roofs. A T-shape roofed block
facing E with S side of S crosswing to road. Large square chimney with cruciform diagonal group of shafts at junction of wings with lobby entrance beside it. 2-storeys wing has 2-lights casement window to each floor. Lower hall range has 2 2-lights casement windows and 2 gabled dormers at eaves with similar windows. C19 internal N gable chimney stack.
