TL 12 SE LANGLEY LANGLEY END
4/65 Barn at Hill End Farm
Barn. Circa 1911 by E.L. Lutyens. Dark red brick in English-bond with
lighter red dressings. Steep old red tile roof carried down at rear over
open-fronted cartshed. A long 1½-storeys building facing N with doors at
2 levels in E end, the upper to a loft. 9-bays front symmetrical with
pilasters at each end, and formerly 3 open bays each side of the centre.
Bull-nosed piers to now infilled openings. Tile lintels and tile keelers
carried on as continuous tile corbel below eaves.
