Barn. S part C16, N part mid C17, floor and corn bins inserted in 2 N
bays of C16 part in C19. Timber frame on red brick sill, dark
weatherboarded with steep pitched roof now of corrugated sheeting. A
long barn facing W into yard and getting taller as ground slopes to N.
C16 part has heavy jowled posts, heavy curved tension braces to ends,
single purlin clasped by collar of each truss with vertical queen-struts
below. 2 bays at S have rear aisle. 3-bays N part taller with jowled
posts and one purlin to each slope. Inclined queen-posts. Mid-height
rail and long straight braces to tie beam. Opposed doors in middle bay.
