Barn, now a gateway and garage. C17 or earlier, C18 brick front. Timber
frame dark weatherboarded, with red brick front to road. Steep old red
tile roof. A 4-bays barn parallel with and fronting the road to S. Red
brick with random black headers in Flemish-bond. Segmental arches to
small 2-light windows set high, and plank door. 2nd bay from E is open
as a carriageway to rear and presumably represents the original
midstray. Heavy frame to opening and iron gates at rear. Jowled posts,
clasped-purlin roof with 2 purlins to each slope, the upper carried on a
collar, the lower on heavy inclined straight queen-posts.
