GV II

House, now 2 houses. C17 or earlier, divided in late C18. Timber frame
on stuccoed brick plinth, roughcast, painted brick rear extension
projects to E. Steep old red tile roof carried down as catslide over
rear extension. A 2-storeys, 2 windows wide house, set back from lane,
facing S into orchard. Large C18 internal chimney rising in middle just
to front of ridge. S front has 2 3-lights flush lattice casements to 1st
floor (cast iron lattice casement at LH), 2-lights to ground floor with
segmental arched heads. Boarded door next each corner with moulded
frame, and gabled tiled hood on large S-shaped wooden brackets.
Dripboard on brackets over each window.
