House. Early C17, attics formed and corner fireplaces inserted in late
C17, low C20 extensions at E. Timber frame on brick sill, roughcast, and
steep old red tile roof. A 2-storeys and attics, 3-bays long house,
facing N, with large external E gable chimney and rear-wall chimney to W
part. Small casement windows, gabled porch to entrance at W end of
middle bay. Garage formed half underground at RH end. Interior has
exposed timbers with ovolo moulded ceiling beam in E room, chamfered and
stopped beams and cross-beams, jowled posts, double curved tension
braces, clasped-purlin roof on collars.
