Stable cottage and outhouse, now a house. C18, probably became a
separate house after Ickleford Manor House burned down in 1911. Brick
with thin timber framing to 1st floor, brick infill. Former outhouse
extending to W with brick base and roughcast rear wall. Steep old red
tile roofs hipped to taller cottage. A 2-storeys, 2 cells, small,
internal chimney house at entrance to courtyard, with single-storey
range extending to W facing S. N side of cottage has 2 windows to each
floor. 2-light casement windows. Entrance on S. Part of a picturesque
courtyard group. Included for group value.
