Barn. C17. Timber frame on brick sill, remains of dark weatherboarding
at E. Roof and rest of cladding stripped for repairs. A tall 3-bays barn
facing S into yard and with N aisle. Double doorway in middle bay. Very
big jowls to bay-posts, unjowled mid-bay posts, mid-height rail jointed
in line, straight tension braces, long straight braces to tie-beams,
clasped purlin roof on inclined queen-posts. Aisle tie-beams support
inclined queen-posts.
