House, now 2 houses. C17 or earlier. N extension C18, NW rear wing C19.
Timber frame roughcast lined as ashlar, plastered brick to lower part of
N extension, NW wing dark weatherboarded above roughcast ground floor.
Steep old red tile roofs with half-hip at N end. An L-shaped 2-storeys
house facing W, with S crosswing projecting only to front, and 2-storeys
extension to N and NW. Large C17 internal chimney at junction with
crosswing rises in front slope and has a recessed panel in the base,
ovolo moulded capping, heightened in C19. The S wing (No. 19) has a
2-lights casement window to each floor and door on LH. 4-panels flush
beaded door with dripboard over linking to 2-lights flush casement
window. Similar window to 1st floor (No. 21) has a flush-box sash window
with 8/8 panes to 1st floor, 2-lights casement window to ground floor to
left of 4-panels flush-beaded door in trellis porch. Canted bay window
to N extension with step at ridge and eaves.
