Barn. Late C16, roof structure renewed, '1847' carved on tie-beam.
Timber frame on brick sill, dark weatherboarded with steep pitched roof
of composition tiles. A tall 7-bays barn with double doors in 2nd bay
from each end, and C19 one bay extension at W. Jowled posts, unjowled
mid-bay posts, mid-height rail jointed in-line, straight and S-curved
tension braces above rail. Edge-halved scarf joint in wallplates
with bridled butts and large face peg. Straight braces to tie-beams.
C19 queen-post timber roof trusses.
