2 adjoining houses. The large on N (No 4) early C18, S house (No 6) early
C19. No 4 is timber framed on a stuccoed sill, with exposed timbers and plastered
panels at front with steep pitched thatched roof and decorative ridge. No 6
is roughcast with a low-pitched slate roof. A roadside group facing E with 5-windows
long, 1 1/2 storeys No 4 to N of 2-storeys, 2 windows long No 6. No 4 has heavy
bay posts and long straight tension braces. A double, and 2 single eyebrow dormers
at the eaves, with 2-lights casements and small panes. Framed plank door near middle
and end-chimneys. No 6 has 2-lights flush small-panes casement windows, one
of 3-lights at S end on each floor, and entrance in front next S corner. Panelled
door (renewed) under flat hood on brackets. Single-storey weatherboarded rear
extension.
