C17 houses of 2 storeys, plastered with steeply pitched tiled roofs.
Nos 142 and 148 have boxed wood eaves cornices, the others show rafter
ends. Nos 142, 148: 2 storeys, 2 windows. No 144, 146, 2 storeys, one
window. All 1st floor windows are small sashes with glazing bars in
slightly projecting, moulded frames. No 142 has one sash with glazing
bars, and one 3-light casement with glazing bars. No 144 has a pivoted
casement and Nos 146, 148 have casements, all with very thick glazing
bars and small panes. All plain, plank doors with plain hoods on curved
brackets. Dutch door at left of No 148.

Nos 142 to 174 (even) form a group.
