Late C18, red brick facade on C17 house. 2 storeys and attic, 2 windows.
Parapet, partly masking high pitched, tiled roof with single, central
dormer. Gauged, very shallow segmental brick arches to sash windows
with glazing bars, 3-light except for one one-light window to left of
door on ground floor. All windows in flush frames, moulded on 1st floor
and plain boxed on ground floor. Part rendered brick plinth with one
basement window. 4 steps to door with 4 fielded panels in upper half,
recessed in panelled reveals. Doorcase has open pediment with modillions
and dentils over order, whose cornice is similarly enriched, with fluted
columns. Cornice head and patterned fanlight within. Rear extension with
hipped, tiled roof.

Nos 142 to 174 (even) form a group.
