Cl7 house with later improvements. High-pitched, hipped, double-sport,
tiled roof with hipped ends to North (street) front of 2 storeys, 4 windows.
Coved eaves with slender brackets. Plastered front with pargeted decoration;
rendered plinth. 1st floor early C18 sash windows with thick glazing
bars in slightly projecting, moulded frames. Ground floor late C17 windows
with wood mullions and transoms and leaded casements. Doorcase with plain
pilasters and moulded cornice hood to door of 6 fielded panels in panelled
reveal.
Early C18 south (garden) front of 2 storeys, 4 windows. Pink brick with
red brick dressings. Giant pilasters at either side support moulded brick
dentil cornice and parapet. Sash windows with glazing bars in near flush
box frames under gauged, segmental, brick arches with white keystones.
Brick plinth with moulded coping.
Inside, 2 rear rooms with early C18 panelling and glazed corner cupboard.
Wide, open fireplace under stone, Tudor shaped arch in front room. Panelled
staircase with fluted, quasi-Ionic columns, and C17 panelling in 1st floor
rooms.
