Formerly "The George".
C15 building of 2 storeys, with 6-window C18 front superimposed. Red
brick with cemented blocking course partly masking a high pitched,
undulating tiled roof. Gauged, flat, brick arches to sash windows with
glazing bars in near-flush, box frames on 1st floor. (2nd from left is
blocked; the 2 right hand windows have modern glazing). Central
carriageway on ground floor and early C20 shop windows either side.
Nos 18 to 28 (consec) form a group.
