Nos 13 to 17 (odd)
TL 1407 SE 9/102 8.5.50.
With Nos 19 and 21 formerly known as "Saracen's Head" C16 houses, refronted
circa 1700, each 2 storeys, 2 windows. High pitched, tiled roofs with
deep, modillioned eaves cornices. All plastered fronts.
No 13: plain reveals to sash windows on 1st floor, later C19 shop front
on ground floor.
No 15: 1st floor sash windows with glazing bars in narrow, moulded frames.
Ground floor small oriel shop windows on brackets at left and right of
No 17: 1st floor sash windows with glazing bars in near-flush moulded
Ground floors unified by series of shop fronts, earlier C19 reproduction,
with dentilled cornice, triglyphs in fascia, Tuscan pilasters at sides and
attached columns in centre. Panelled soffit at entrance of No 17.
All houses have gabled rear extensions of C17 appearance.
Nos 1 to 25 (odd) form a group.
