2. Farmhouse. Mid/late C17, possibly with an earlier core, encased C19 or C20.
Timber frame with brick and rendered casing; pantile roof; brick chimneys, 3-unit,
lobby-entry plan. 2 storeys and attic; 4-window range of C20 casements C20 brick
porch to right of centre with C20 square-fronted bay window to left. 3 dormers the
left one with a hipped roof. Large red brick chimney to right of centre has eight
pointed shafts on cuneiform plan. C17 or C18 end stack to left. 2 Gothic porches
in yellow stock brick with ogee-headed arches (the right one a bay window) on left
gable end Interior: 3 bays each with double floor beams. Blocked ingle-nook fire
place; remains of newel stair behind stack in attic. C19 extensions to rear.
