Farmhouse. Probably C15. Early-mid C19 right extension. Lower
C19 extension on left. Timber frame to centre. Plastered ground
floor. Roughcast upper floor. The centre is a deep range with a
steep half-hipped machine tile roof, upper floor with 2 C20
casements, ground floor with larger casement and plank door.
Right wing has a high plastered ground floor with 1 recessed sash
window. Left wing has narrow hipped roof and a single upper
casement. Centre part has 2 3-metre bays which were probably the
cross wing of an open hall. (RCHM Typescript).
