Pair of houses in a single long range, probably built as
adjoining units. Late C17; early C20 extension to Rose Cottage.
Timber frame. Weatherboarding. Plain tile roof. 2 storeys.
Earlier part has a large central chimney stack of 2 tall square
shafts that touch on their corbelled upper courses. 3 assorted
casement windows, the left 2 1st floor windows apparently late
C17 casements; others are C19/20 wood glazing bar casements,
except for a cast iron casement to left of door to Little Rose
Cottage. C20 extension with matching details.
