House, built as an inn in the later C18 (said to be 1780).
Chequered red brick to ground floor; upper floor rebuilt early
C19 in plain red brick. Machine tile roof. Cellar below right-
hand side. 2 3-light glazing bar casements. Central C19 door in
moulded frame. Gauged brick lintels to ground floor windows. C19
wood shutters. Upper floor has blank central panel. 2 C18 ridge
chimney stacks, the left one external, the right one now enclosed
by recent extension. Interior has C18 exposed studwork and
chamfered floor beams. C19 extension to rear.
