House pair. Mid C17. Timber frame with contemporary brick
infill, now painted white. Plain tile roof with central ridge
chimney stack of 4 joined diagonal shafts on a square base. 2
storeys and attics. Long frontage with 6 glazing bar casements
in original openings on 1st floor, the centre two a pair. 4
casements to ground floor. 2 gabled casement dormers. 3
plank doors. E gable end has an attached wall of an earlier
building, said to have been the village hall. Closer-set vertical
studwork and C20 nogging.
