House, formerly a farmhouse. C17 or earlier timber frame. Early
C19 stuccoed and red brick casing. Plain tile roof, hipped on W
end. 2 storeys and attics. Red brick section in middle has a
dentilled brick eaves and a large ridge chimney stack at the E
end, 2 glazing bar casements and a flush panel door in moulded
frame. Stuccoed block on W has a cellar and 1 1st floor sash
window. On E side is a small timber frame bay with C20 red brick
front. Beyond that is a former barn (Pound Cottage) with
exposed timber frame; 2 casement windows and box dormers.
