15/186 No 71 (The Country House


Inn, now a restaurant. C16 and C17 timber frame. Early C19
painted brick front. 2 bays and a 1 bay S extension over a
carriage arch, the extension with imitation timber frame. C16
framing exposed on N wall of carriageway. 4 1st floorwindows,
that over door blind, the other 3 with thin glazing bars.
Segmental-headed door with C20 casements either side. Plain tile
roof with rebuilt ridge stack above door. Weatherboarded and
slate roof extension to rear.
