House and shop. Early C19 front to late C17 timber frame house.
Vitrified brown brick with red brick vertical bands. Exposed
framing with red brick infill to N gable end. 2 storeys. The
front has 3 1st floor flush sash windows with gauged brick
lintels. 2 doors with rounded stucco heads. Late C19 shop on
right. Single storey rear extension, also vitrified brown brick.
Interior of No 28 has large inglenook with contemporary oak newel
stair attached at rear. Good chamfer-stopped floor beam.
