GV II

Mill house and mill in single large range, the mill house lower
and on right. Circa 1700 origin for mill house, altered early
C19 when mill was added on left. Mill house is painted brick
with black-painted brick quoins. Mill has painted brick ground
floor and weatherboarded upper floor. Plain tile roofs. 2-
storey mill house has front facing E. It has a painted brick
band and dentilled brick eaves, the latter an early C19
alteration, probably the same date as the hipped roof. 5
segmental-headed windows with twin casements; C19 sash on left
ground floor. 2nd from left 1st floor window blank. Formerly a
central door; now a C20 bay. S elevation has 1 segmental-headed
window. Recessed bay on left has a C19 half-glazed door with a
heavy cornice hood on twin brackets. The mill itself has 5-6
assorted casements and 4 stable doors. To centre are sack hoist
doors, and in the roof above is a 2-storey hoisting bay.
