13/336 The Red Cow P.H.


Public House. Late C17 or early C18. Early-mid C19 and C20
details. Timber frame. Plastered walls. Plain tile steep
pitched roof. Long stack across ridge. 2 storeys and attics. 3
windows, upper ones left and right are 14/14-pane sashes, blank
in centre. Replacement door in C19 moulded wood frame with
simple flat hood. At rear, and joined to the stack at the top,
is a full-height central projecting staircase tower with a small
casement in the gable. Lean to ranges either side, the N one C18
with an external stack.
