Farmhouse. Probably late C16. Timber frame, partly exposed.
C18-19 red brick casing. Plain tile roof. 2 storeys. 3 C19-20
glazing bar casements. 2 early C19 flush-panel doors, the left
one with cut bracket hood, these doors showing that property was
formerly divided. Between doors the ground floor windows are
segmental-headed and the brickwork chequered. 2 C19-20 rear
extensions, between which is a C18/19 outshut. Internally is much
exposed framing: central bay has close-studded rear wall with
original window openings on both floors, the upper window
retaining a diamond mullion. Large chimney stack on left centre.
On rear right is an early C18 staircase with heavy turned
balusters. Clasped purlin roof.
