Farmhouse. Mid-late C17; possibly an earlier core. C19-20
casing. Timber frame. Red brick ground floor. Roughcast upper
floor. Pantile roof. Large red brick chimney stack towards
right with 8 joined shafts in cruciform plan. C17-18 external
stack on left gable end. 2 storeys and attics - an unusually
tall farmhouse. 4 C20 casements. 3 original gabled dormers. On
left gable end are 2 c.1840 Gothic style porches, the right one a
bay window. Yellow stock brick and red brick, both with ogee-
headed arches. Interior comprises 3 large bays, each with double
floor beams. Blocked inglenook. Remains of newel staircase
behind stack in attic. C19 rear extensions.
