TL 11 NE WHEATHAMPSTEAD MACKERYE END -

Farmhouse. Early C17 or possibly late C16. Mid C19 gabled
addition on left front side. Timber frame. Combed pargetting.
Plain tile hipped roof. Large square red brick chimney stack
near left end. Rear elevation has 4 C19 glazing bar casements
and 3 hipped casement dormers. 2 early C19 doorcases with shaped
brackets and pediment hoods. C18-19 lean to additions on rear
left end enclose an early C18 external chimney stack. Interior
has a square central hall. Room above has a good c,1700
bolection moulded fireplace. C19 wing is colour washed brick and
has 3 glazing bar casements. Gabled porch with elliptical arch.
