7/484 Croft Cottage
(formerly Keepers Cottage)


House. C17 timber frame, extended and cased in red brick in
later C18. Further left extension circa 1965 to form long
stepped range in colour-washed brick. 2 storeys. 5 casements.
Dentilled brick eaves. Plain tile roof. Right block has higher
roof and external end chimney stacks. 2 1st-floor square C18
casements. Interior with heavy C17 beams and contemporary
staircase at right end. C18 extension has 1 early leaded
casements; remaining windows are C20.
