House, now 2 shops. Probably 1852. Knapped flint and red brick
dressings. Tiled roof. T-plan. 2 storeys, 2 window front. Slightly
projecting right bay with gable to front. Ground floor projecting C20
shopfronts. First floor 3-light cast iron casements with Gothic glazing,
slightly cambered heads, drip moulds. Small gable over left window.
Diagonally set brick courses at eaves and in gables. Right return: steps
up to later 1st floor entrance. Stack towards rear with panelled shaft.
Decorative brickwork in rear gable. Interior not inspected. Included for
group value.
