House, now 2 dwellings. Late C16 or early C17. Extended and refronted
late C18. Timber frame, stuccoed brick front. Steeply pitched old tiled
roof. 2 storeys. 4 bays. Ground floor: 2 entrances to left of centre
with cambered heads. Flanking sashes, 6-pane to left, to right
horizontally sliding, 8-pane and, to far right, 12-pane, the latter now
incorporated into No. 12 (q.v.). 4 first floor 2 light casements in
reveals. Plinth. Axial stack to right rebuilt. Large stack to rear
right. Two C18 gabled wings to rear that to left with a half-hip and a
stack. Interior not inspected. Built as infill between 2 earlier houses
at Nos. 4 and 6 and 12 to 16 (q.q.v.).
