House, now 2 shops and flat. C16, floored and heated in C17, altered
C19/C20. Timber frame. Brick walling, some weatherboarding, rendering
and applied timber. Steeply pitched tiled roof. Probably single ended
open hall originally. 3 bays. 2 storeys and attic. Ground floor shop
fronts. 3 first floor 2-light casements, applied timber studs. One 2-
light dormer. C17 stack to rear of ridge between 2 hall bays to right,
rebuilt. Second stack to left on rear pitch. Left gable end has exposed
framing with brick nogging, jowled posts, evidence of curved braces.
Weatherboarded gable and right gable end. To rear: first floor exposed
studs with brick nogging. One storey addition not of special interest.
Interior not inspected.
